Demo

Andrea did a demo of a galaxy bead, I think everyone was very happy with it. The people were so nice, very happy and friendly. In the main gathering hall where Andrea demo'd there was a huge very neat fountain, I took a picture of her doing her demo across the fountain. We had some yummy fruit Pinar picked up for us!

The Glass Furnace

The Glass Furnace in Istanbul is amazing! Pinar and Ilkner took us around Istanbul and took us out to the school where Andrea did a demo. They have a set up for pretty much every form of glass work you can think of. They have classes, dorms, feed you and have a POOL! The classes are really reasonable.

Istabnul

Our hotel in Istanbul was amazing and had the nicest owner. Ozen went out of her way to give us sight seeing advise, help us with our horribly flight arrangements and she even dropped us off that the airport when we left for Cappadocia. I highly recommend staying there if you ever go to Istanbul!

The view from the roof top garden was amazing! One way you saw out over the water, the other way you see the Blue Mosque. It really left me awe struck. I had to call my husband on my new Itouch using Skype from the roof top just to tell him how amazing it was. I also wanted to try out my new toy!

Flight to Turkey

We flew to Instanbul in Turkey from Hamburg. The flight was crowded and noisy, but for some reason the fact that my shoes matched the seats made me very happy! Didn't make up for the fact that we paid more than double than what we should have for the flight. But good enough I had to take a picture!

Bead of the Day!

I was the "Bead of the Day" on the Fire Diva's blog yesterday. Well it was button of the day to be technical!!!

Loved the Gardens!

I loved all the flowers and gardens I took a lot of pictures. Here's some more. I love the one of the begonias in the tub, I may blow it up and frame it!!

Michou and Her mom take us to the beach!!

On our one day off from the studio (*sigh* yes only one day off) Michou and her Mom took us to the beach in Hamburg. It was a great day, they met us at the hotel, took us on the ferry, walked the beach, had ice cream. Saw some very cool gardens. One garden had these faces made out of old shovels and tools, very cool I need to poke my husband to make me some!!!
